Standard is all-or-nothing with higher multipliers. Use it when you have high-confidence picks and want maximum payout. Best for 2–4 pick entries where your hit rate supports the math.
Flex provides a safety net — you can still profit missing 1–2 picks. The tradeoff is lower max multipliers (e.g., 10x vs 20x on 5-picks). Use Flex for 5+ pick entries where the probability of a perfect sweep drops significantly.
Use the calculator's hit-rate field to test your own assumptions. Standard rewards perfect cards with higher multipliers, while Flex gives you a safety net when the chance of a perfect sweep drops.
A 4-pick Standard entry on Underdog pays 10x your entry. A $10 entry returns $100 if all 4 picks hit.
Underdog Flex lets you win even if some picks miss. A 5-pick Flex pays 10x for 5/5, 2.5x for 4/5. A 3-pick Flex pays 3.25x for 3/3 and 1.09x for 2/3.
The maximum multiplier on Underdog is 120x on an 8-pick Standard entry. With a $50 entry, that's a $6,000 payout.
Standard pays more but requires every pick to hit. Flex provides a safety net — you can still profit missing 1-2 picks. Flex is better for bankroll management, Standard for max upside.
