Power Play is all-or-nothing. Every pick must hit to win. Higher multipliers, higher risk. A 4-pick Power Play pays 10x — but miss one and you get nothing.
Flex Play lets you win even if some picks miss. You get reduced multipliers but profit is possible with partial accuracy. A 5-pick Flex pays 10x for a perfect 5/5, but still returns 2x for 4/5 and 0.4x (partial refund) for 3/5.
The tradeoff is clear: Power Play for max upside when you're confident, Flex Play for consistency when you want to reduce variance.
Your expected payout depends on your per-pick hit rate. At 50% (coin flip), a 4-pick Power Play has a 6.25% chance of hitting. At a hypothetical 65% per-pick hit rate, that jumps to 17.9% — nearly 3x more likely.
This calculator uses combinatorial probability to estimate your chance of hitting each payout tier based on your assumed hit rate per leg. The higher your edge per pick, the more profitable these entries become over time.
A 4-pick Power Play on PrizePicks pays 10x your entry. A $10 entry returns $100 if all 4 picks hit.
Flex Play lets you win even if not all picks hit. A 5-pick Flex Play pays 10x for 5/5, 2x for 4/5, and 0.4x for 3/5.
The maximum multiplier on PrizePicks is 25x on a 6-pick Power Play. With a $100 entry, that's a $2,500 payout.
Flex Play has lower max payouts but lets you profit even missing 1-2 picks. Power Play pays more but requires all picks to hit. Flex Play is better for consistency, Power Play for max upside.
