What Propeller Does

Propeller is an AI-powered sports analysis platform that scores every available player prop across six professional sports: NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, Soccer (EPL & MLS), and UFC. Each prop is analyzed by 8 specialized AI agents that evaluate different dimensions of the bet — matchup quality, injury cascades, pace environment, usage patterns, line movement, historical hit rates, and no-vig market probability.

The output is a single confidence score from 20 to 80 for every prop. Higher scores indicate stronger over signals; lower scores indicate stronger under signals. Neutral scores near 50 indicate no clear edge.

Every prediction is automatically graded after the game finishes. Results are published publicly on our Results page and Track Record. No cherry-picking, no hidden losses.

Performance Track Record

As of April 2026, Propeller has graded 49,000+ player prop predictions across all six sports with a combined win rate above 57%. Individual sport and stat-type breakdowns are available on our Track Record page.

Key stat-type results for the 2025-2026 NBA season: blocks at 69.9%, three-pointers at 63.2%, steals at 61.9%, assists at 57.6%, and rebounds at 57.3% (10,580 graded picks). NFL backtesting showed 57.8% across 3,367 legs.

How the AI Engine Works

Each sport uses 6-8 specialized AI agents, each analyzing a different factor. Agent weights are calibrated through backtesting against historical results — not arbitrary intuition. The agents include:

• • Matchup Agent — Position-specific defensive matchup quality (Defense vs. Position)
• • No-Vig Agent — Bilateral no-vig probability across multiple sportsbooks
• • Pace/Volume Agent — Game environment and statistical opportunity adjustments
• • Hit Rate Agent — Recency-weighted performance trends and consistency analysis
• • Usage/Minutes Agent — Playing time trajectory and role change detection

Methodology and Transparency

Propeller is built on a principle: if you can't verify the results, the results don't count. Every prediction is logged before games start. Every outcome is graded automatically after games finish. Win rates, calibration curves, and stat-type breakdowns are published publicly.

Our confidence calibration is documented and verifiable: picks rated at 75%+ confidence hit at 59.4% in the 2025-2026 NBA season (1,962 graded picks). Picks rated 65-69% hit at 57.6% (1,921 picks). The system is well-calibrated — higher confidence scores consistently map to higher actual win rates.

Agent weights and calibration parameters are optimized through systematic backtesting against historical data, not subjective judgment. When we update weights or add new agents, we document the change and its impact on historical performance.
